Table Flip Games is a small independent games company I have established in 2014 which is aimed at developing video games inspired by research interests.
This is intended to work on two fronts: concept development as well as research testing. When working on research projects, it’s important to remember that if this idea will influence the development of a game or how a final game will perform, then we need to assess that in context. Often this is not permissible, given that the priority is on completion of the research. Since commercial applications are often outside the scope of research and are neither funded nor supported within traditional academic models. As such, Table Flip Games exists as an opportunity to put these ideas into practice outside of the scholarly activity.
The Table Flip Games website carries links to current projects and development blogs.
